Description

Small sized species, very colorful and active, adapted to survive the extreme water conditions of Lake Natron, very high pH and hardness levels and temps that can reach 90-100°F

Year Acquired:   2021

Very active swimmer, requires higher than normal water temps, I've found that 82-84°F is fine for keeping and breeding them long term.

Typical Haplochromine fashion

Have Reared Fry?   Yes

Had trouble with fry development until I started adding Cichlid salts to raise the GH and KH
